During a pandemic, the role of parents is a very influential part of the learning process and the formation of children’s character. Parents must try to position themselves as parents and teachers for their children. However, not many parents are ready to carry out this mandate. Apart from being busy with work activities in the office. Lack of knowledge about how to educate is part of the parental inability factor. So that not a few outpourings appear on FB, IG and other social media from parents about the difficulties they are currently facing.
Seeing these conditions, AQL Islamic Center under Yayasan Pusat Peradaban Islam has a school that focuses on building the character of Ulama who are Intellectuals and Intellectuals who are Ulama, makes a guide for parents in directing students’ cognitive and spiritual abilities at home. To guide cognitive mastery, the school uses the Zoom application, Google Classroom by combining Google Forms, YouTube and other supporting applications. Meanwhile, to guide the spiritual abilities of students. The school has developed the MOMENESIA (i.e. Muslim Organization Student of AQL for Indonesia) program.
MOMENESIA is a program for students’ activities that focus on Dakwah as a Muslim to the rural areas with the tools of photography, which is a good media to be presented. By utilizing the WhatsApp channel as a means of sharing their activity.
We also develop a chatbot so that the society can access freely by their WhatsApp Account.
With MOMENESIA program, it is hoped that it can help our school to increase spiritual activities that must be carried out as a muslim student. So that they maintain their spiritual activity.
